WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
Garnet Instruments warrants that equipment manufactured by Garnet Instruments shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of sale by Garnet Instruments, an authorized dealer, an authorized distributor, or a qualified OEM. The warranty period will commence on the date of purchase, the installation date by an authorized dealer, or the date of manufacture for the recreational vehicle or equipment that the product is installed on.
Under these warranties, Garnet Instruments shall be responsible only for actual loss or damage suffered in any event capped at Garnet Instruments’ invoiced price of the product, and a maximum of one (1) hour of labor, by a qualified service person, per warranty claim. Garnet Instruments shall not be liable for any additional labor charges or for any indirect, special, or consequential damages.
These warranties do not apply to defects or damages resulting from modifications or tampering. In all cases, Garnet Instruments will warrant only those products used for applications acceptable to Garnet Instruments and within the technical specifications of the product. Furthermore, Garnet Instruments will warrant only those products that have been installed and maintained according to Garnet Instruments factory specifications.
LIMITATION ON WARRANTIES
These warranties constitute the only warranties, expressed or implied, upon which products are sold by Garnet Instruments, and Garnet Instruments makes no warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose regarding the products sold.
Garnet Instruments reserves the right to modify, amend, or update the terms and conditions of this warranty at any time without prior notice. Such changes will apply to any products purchased after the date of the modification and will be posted in the relevant product documentation and/or on the Garnet Instruments website.
For Garnet Instruments products or parts thereof presumed defective by the purchaser within the stipulated warranty period, please contact Garnet Instruments using the contact information below for troubleshooting assistance. After an initial diagnosis by qualified Garnet Instruments service personnel, you may be issued a replacement product or asked to return the defective product to Garnet Instruments for further evaluation.
Defective product must be returned through the original point of purchase (i.e., local dealer, local distributor, OEM, or directly to Garnet Instruments) for evaluation and service. To return a product, the customer must first obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) from Garnet Instruments. No materials may be returned without an RMA number assigned or without proper factory authorization. Any returns must be freight prepaid to the location identified by the Garnet Instruments Service personnel.
Returned warranted items will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Garnet Instruments. Any items deemed irreparable by Garnet Instruments will be replaced at no charge, or a credit will be issued for that item, subject to the customer’s request. Repaired or replaced products will be made available on an Delivered at Place (DAP) basis.
Where applicable, if any regional regulations provide more generous warranty terms, those regulations will supersede the terms herein. Where signed agreements include a warranty provision those agreements will supersede the terms herein.
